Latest addition to the TG Library is Let Your Love Flow by The Bellamy Brothers, adding another artist to our collection.

The Bellamy Brothers are an American pop and country duo from Darby, Florida.

They had considerable musical succes in the 1970s and 1980s, starting with the release of their single 'Let Your Love Flow'. It became a major hit around the world.

This lesson teaches how to play it in three different keys. The key of E (where the guitar is tuned down a half step), as performed in earlier years, the key of C (Capo III) in later years, and the key of D (Capo I), usually played by another guitar player.

The progression features three major chords, the I-IV-V, which you could also play as barre chords. Mix and match might be another great option.

We take a look at the strumming in great detail. Again, in earlier years they would primarily play it at the speed of 16's (double time), in later years they would play it mainly at the speed of 8th's. The latter includes a little 'bounce'. We break down both.

Another technique to tackle is to throw in a little percussion with the fretting hand, by squeezing and releasing the strings.

Of course, the hammer-on in the bass for the intro and other parts of the song is included. The key of D works best for that matter, or playing with barre chords does the trick as well.

It is encouraged to try out all three keys, and both speeds of the strumming hand.
