Campfire songs are OK but.........................

I started this thread, but I might have implied that
campfire songs were boring. I should have chosen better wording.
What I meant to say, that since I can't and won't sing at all, as a
solo guitarist, playing songs that include at least some kind
of melody is almost essential when I'm playing.
And I do need help with the campfire songs since I almost never
switch chords on the right beat or strum the best way.

I hear you Camaro. I'm no singer either. Having the melody line in the song somehow has always been the way I want to play it.
