Drum roll..This was voted as the most requested lesson , and now it is off the list ...

Layla is undoubtedly one of the greatest rock songs of all time. This lesson focuses mostly on the acoustic version from Eric Clapton's Unplugged album, but also includes a look at some of the guitar riffs in the original Derek& The Dominoes studio recording, as well as a bit about playing a lead in the key of D Minor.

It is a level 6 available now in Target

Hope you enjoy it all..

Fantastic. I'm heading out bush for a few days but glad to know this one will be here when I get back. Thanks very much Neil and Matt.

Great job Neil. What a fun lesson. The play along section was also great.

Thanks Fred. I'll see what country we are in when I return. According to Robin Williams we are all rednecks down here so I'll need to take my banjo. Ciao for now.

Thanks TG for this and all you do.

I just got through most of the acoustic. Now to practice!

I've gotten in a daily habit of going first to the the song voting spot, just to see whats new. The first thing I noticed was that Layla was missing. It was almost like Christmas. I couldn't wait to go to the Target member area, look under Clapton to see (what was under the tree).

This is really neat. I'll be on this one like a "hobo on a hot dog" ..

Thanks all for making this happen.

This is why learning to play guitar is so much fun...

Scott
