So here you go...another Clapton classic..

Hey Hey was written by Big Bill Broonzy and is one of his most popular songs, partly due to Eric Clapton's Unplugged album, which featured quite a few classic blues tunes. It is 12 Bar Blues in the key of E, and is a great example of Big Bill's style, using the thumb to create a driving percussion sound, rather than the more harmonic, alternating bass sound.

It is a Level 7 song chosen for its technique , and it is a fun song..

Hope you enjoy it..

I almost missed this, they're coming so fast and furious. I was just working on a tab from Ultimate Guitar that is sort of right, but really not. Once again, incredible timing.

Happy Birthday Eric, and thank you so much Neil for posting this song. Hey, Hey is one of my favorite songs from Eric's unplugged album, which is of course one of my favorite albums. It was the inspiration for my interest in country blues. Thanks Neil for your unending work on helping us all become better guitarists!!! --John
