So here is the latest Target lesson, and one that I have actually had a go at learning, so we turned it into a lesson as well...

Really a solo guitar song by Eddie Vedder, Just Breathe is a fingerpicking tune much like Dust In The Wind or Blackbird. One of the similarities is that the picking is easy but very fast. This was released in October 2009 on the Pearl Jam album Backspacer, making it the most current song we have to date.

It is a Level 4 and I would love to see some of you post this one in the student channel..

Hope you enjoy it...I know I have...

Cheers

Matt

Yes, I understand that every life must end, aw-huh,..
As we sit alone, I know someday we must go, aw-huh,..
Oh I'm a lucky man, to count on both hands
the ones I love,..

Some folks just have one,
yeah, others, they've got none, huh-uh

Stay with me,..
Let's just breathe.

Practiced are my sins,
never gonna let me win, aw-huh,..
Under everything, just another human being, aw-huh,..
Yeh, I don't wanna hurt, there's so much in this world
to make me bleed.

Stay with me,..
You're all I see.

Did I say that I need you?
Did I say that I want you?
Oh, if I didn't I'm a fool you see,..
No one knows this more than me.
As I come clean.

I wonder everyday
as I look upon your face, aw-huh,..
Everything you gave
And nothing you would take, aw huh,..
Nothing you would take
Everything you gave...

Did I say that I need you?
Oh, did I say that I want you?
Oh, if I didn't I'm a fool you see,..
No one knows this more than me.
As I come clean, ah-ah...

Nothing you would take,..
Everything you gave.
Hold me till I die,..
Meet you on the other side.

I couldn't resist. It's jumped the queue, I've started learning it. I could use another 1cm of hand span though. Thanks Neil great lesson (and Al for getting the ball rolling)

WOW!! Wait until I tell my wife that this is here. She's the one that asked me to learn the song in the first place.

Thanks Neil & Matt. Can't wait to watch the lesson and learn more about how to play it properly.

Neil,Matt.

Thank you guys for all the hard work. These last few song you guys have put up for us have brought us out of the 1970s.Being from that time I've enjoyed that music and have a lot more of that music to learn. But I'm finding myself starting to come into the modern days. These or some great song by some great groups. And find myself starting to explore today's group and there music. And to my surprise really enjoying it.

Thanks Kevin
