Another Rolling Stones Campfire song, You Can't Always Get What You Want is about as easy as it gets in their catalog. A few simple chords and a simple strumming pattern and you've got it. This lesson also talks about playing in different keys using a capo to create different sounds.

Great,,i set up a boy choir... aah..aah...

I can't seem to get the strum pattern exactly right...can anyone help?

Maybe i can,,do you know the ballad strum D FAKE D D UP??? Your hand is moving in eight notes 1&2&3&4&,,,on count 1=DOWNSTROKE,,COUNT 2=fake(you still keep moveing, but don't hit the strings)count 3-Downstroke,count 4-DOWN/UP STROKE....now i explain it on a 4 count measer but you must do the ballad strum (in this case)two times in one measer(or each chord),,speed it up but keep thinkin,,1D 2FAKE 3D 4DU..hope it helps..

PS practice it slow first on a 4 measer count,, then speed it up and try to do it twice..

when you try singin with it you get the most of that strum feeling on the lyrics ''YOU CAN'T ALWAY'S GET WHAT YOU WANT'' where the word CAN'T = the first count from the measer on the G CHORD(CAPO ON 5).. and the word WANT = the first word of the next measer chord C/G..below i made a vid of it not only to help but also for me to get some feedback,,i load it up also at the students review.
