Greetings all,

Here is the latest Target lesson, and a fave of mine too.

Al Stewart is Neil’s favorite songwriter, and as such it is about time we got to Al’s biggest hit, Year Of The Cat. This Campfire Lesson looks at the rhythm guitar part but also includes a bit about the little piano fill that really identifies the song.

It is a level 6 and available now in Target ...

Make sure you go and leave a comment in YouTube and give it the thumbs up if you like it

Cheers

Matt

Neil, your technique looks good, hand postion, strumming etc... But you did break rythm in the begining of the song ! LOL Great lesson ! I look forward to learning yet another tune !

Mark

PS Sorry had to pick on the master a little

Thank you guys so much for this one! I have wanted to learn this song for a very long time. This could go along with another current thread. Songs that make you sing while driving...... B)

Great song! Can't wait to try this one out.

Now that's what I'm talking about! Not only has Neil now shown me the riff to one of my favourite Moody Blues songs, Story in Your Eyes, he's now come out with one of my absolute favourites by Al Stewart who I just love! Year of the Cat is the feel of the 70's to me. I feel a video post coming on.... ;-).
