Greetings everyone..

Our latest Target lesson is now available ...

Mauro Giuliani Right Hand Studies

Mauro Giuliani was an Italian composer and guitarist from the early 19th century. He wrote many compositions and studies that are still popular in the classical guitar world today. Hector Garcia has put together a series of right hand exercises by Giuliani. Today we take a look at the first two, a great place to start your classical guitar journey.

It is a Level 1 - remember this is level 1 classical....

Hope you enjoy it

Matt

Just went through the lessons, and I find them to be extremely helpful. This is not limited to classical guitar but it is excellent for any fingerpicking style as you can see the right hand position and it develops the fingers agility. You also learn how the fingers should travel, to minimized the movement and gain speed.

Anybody doing finger style should look at this series

Thanks Hector

Marc

Hi Hector,
I am looking forward in learning these exercises, but would it be possible to also have the exercises put in notation/tab? It is hard for me to see what fingers and strings are being used in the video.

thank you,
Lisa
