Today's Target lesson is now live

This is a bonus lesson we are bringing you as we try and give you some variety this week..

Neil's childhood buddy, Mandolin Mike has put together a short intro lesson on the mandolin.

The instrument is tuned like a violin but played more like a guitar, being used mostly in Bluegrass but its roots go back centuries to Italy, even Beethoven wrote music for the mandolin.

In this lesson Mike goes over how it is tuned and gives us a little Mozart tune to continue expanding our horizons.

I hope you enjoy today's excursion.

Cheers

Matt

This lesson has re-fired my G.A.S. Now I'm scanning eBay again. Oh...TG is bad for that.

Mandolins sound SO pretty though...

Thanks for the lesson Mike.

Can someone recommend an entry level model/make of mandolin that is cheap but worth getting?

Ta

Michele
