Another Target only release for today,,,as late as could be (its 2am my time posting this)
One of Neil’s popular instrumental pieces is *Quicksand*, the opening tune on his album El Dorado. There are five parts to the song, most based on a fairly standard chord progression but using a combination of picking patterns involving partially arpeggios and partially alternate picking to bring out the melody lines.
Although this is a relatively advanced guitar lesson, we are bringing it out as a Drip Feed that breaks it down into small, more manageable chunks. The first installment consists of 3 Parts, the Play Through & Preview, Technical Tips, and the Breakdown of the Intro and Section A, as well as a Split Screen Slow Down of Section A.
