At this point many of you might be familiar with Neil’s student Sandy, who comes to lessons with a very theoretical and methodical approach. They frequently work on how to take this background and get to a more musical approach. In this Fly On The Wall episode they talk about memorization techniques, the positive and negative aspects of memorizing in general, and how these can be applied to the song she was working on, Neil’s fingerpicking arrangement of Here Comes The Sun.
