Hi Everyone,

Today's Target and Pay Per Lesson release is now live.

Please Come Home For Christmas is a popular Holiday tune that has been done by dozens of artists since 1960, when blues piano player Charles Brown wrote it. This lesson is based loosely on the Eagles' version, released in 1978. The lesson includes explanations of the common 32-bar form used in thousands of songs, as well as different accompaniment styles for songs in 6/8 or 12/8 time.

This is a Level 5 lesson.

Thanks Neil.

This is one of the few contemporary Christmas songs I actually don't get tired of when I hear it again & again this time of year!

Neil,

Please correct me if I'm wrong but in the free preview at 2:47 you say a Ddim chord is xx1212 (D# A C F#). Isn't what you play a D#dim chord? And a Ddim chord is xx0101 (D G# B F). Thanks.

Very likely I misspoke, the chord is definitely D#dim7.
