Hi Everyone,

Today's Target members only lesson is a new Fly On The Wall.

Ed was not comfortable when strumming with a pick and wasn't getting very good tone. We took a few minutes in this lesson to go over some important tips and techniques.

Nice example here. I would totally agree in that its all about how hard you hold the pick. Just like Neil said, for lead work or individual notes you want to hold the pick a bit harder and not as shallow and angle to the strings. For strumming your almost holding it so light that it feels it may fall out of your grasp. It just takes lots of patience and evenually your fingers will know how hard to hold the pick. If you look at Buddy's early strumming from a few years ago you'll see/hear how hard he was holding the pick. Today his strumming is soft as butter.
