Hi Everyone,

Today's Target members only lesson is a new Fly On The Wall.

Fred and I had messed with a few Buddy Holly tunes over the last couple of months and decided to get a little more specific with Not Fade Away in this lesson. We broke down the strumming pattern and listened to it a few times to really dial in on the parts and the arrangement.

Hope you enjoy this.

Thanks for dropping in, Willem! Fun tune by the late, great Buddy Holly....the triads in the middle - I get two practice sessions with one song!

Its amazing how it can work to get a rhythm down when you call a chord ghost or shadow,,my two hands have to work as a team but my brain does'nt,,yet !

so most of the time it are ghost chords,,I think..

Check out what Neil is doing with his right hand from 13:20 onwards..... that is a whole lesson in itself!
Can you co-ordinate your fingers like that in perfect time? I thought my fingers pretty much obeyed me... but I can't quite catch that 4th beat like that! That is one cool piece of co-ordination well worth practising.

Not just the speed of the fingers but the precise rhythm they snap out... I can't move my fingers like that... can't get the instructions out fast enough!

I assume you are refering to the right hand air fingers at the speed of light?
