Aargh, I just wish the song wasn't so hard to play! Those hinge barres!! This is clearly going to require far more patience than I'm accustomed to demonstrating. Learning Kathy's Song in a day clearly gave me a very false sense of confidence! :)

Suzi
Suzi, this is one of those 7 you were talking about ;) the hinge bars will become easy at the 200th time

I'll be jumping on this train as well. Level 7 though. Could be a rough ride.

This is exactly the arrangement of this tune that I wanted to learn.
Great new lesson, thanks!

Well Vanessa, considering the skill with which you play and perform, I'd say that rock of yours is a pretty good one indeed. This song ain't no climb, for a climber like you. In fact, you probably already have it. :)

Great lesson, and an old favourite. This one is bypassing the queue and going straight to the top of my to-learn list!

I hear you, Suzi!

Measure #6. UGH!
Crossing over the hingebar to play the bass note? Really?

I'm scared to watch the next section where Neil says "there's a little bit of a mess" with the d-chord.

Nice video too. I haven’t seen this. It’s an added treat to see Tony Levin playing a chapman stick.
:-)

Ken, I agree, I am fan of Tony Levin too. I love the sound of 'The Stick' and Tony is a master with it. I almost bought a 12-string Stick several years ago. At the last moment I remembered that that my tapping skills really SUCK, so no stick for me. I will wait for Neil and Matt to come out with Totally Stick and then I may give it a shot. :)
