Hi Everyone,

Today's Target and Pay Per Lesson release is now live.

Maggie May was the song that really launched Rod Stewart’s solo career and was released in 1971 on his third album, Every Picture Tells A Story. The original recording featured many acoustic instruments and the lesson presents a great way to recreate much of the sounds by using Dropped D Tuning. It also covers the short instrumental intro, Henry, written by one of Rod’s guitarists Martin Quittenton.

Enjoy this level 5 lesson.

Always liked this song, never knew there was so much to it though. I've never heard the intro, still haven't as I can't find it on YouTube...
I can tell it'll be a treat to learn.

One of my favorite Rod Stewart songs... Actually have a family member named Maggie May, after this song. Thank you for putting it up. now I will learn the correct way to play it...
