Yeah, I'd have my own private teacher eh? I really do trust his logic when it comes to lessons and how to teach. Thats why I'm here. But I have to find ways to make songs sound more musical at a much slower tempo than Neil does. So many places in this song can speed up, and slow down, and GP doesn't know where that is. And after all, my wife had never heard this song, so she doesn't know how fast it should go. And she is the only one that listens to me anyway.Scott
I haven't used GP much in this way..... the real thing is best........
Well it's his fault eh? ....... Setting his lesson standards so high ...... !!!!
Maybe you could kidnap Neil and make an offer he can't refuse!!

Yep Dermot, I just practiced all the parts with the sections set up as is, and there is no continuity here. Working on the sections is good stuff, but this is tough.TG Neil Wrote:I did wonder about this being your reason for omitting a slo-mo metronome playthrough.......but the numerous tempo changes make it pretty non-musical.
Thanks for considering it as possibility at a later date if you feel it can be done in a beneficial way.
