Hi Everyone,

Today's Target members only lesson is a new Fly On The Wall.

Fred had been working on picking out the melody to Norwegian Wood and was having a bit of trouble connecting some of the notes and getting them clear. We went over some techniques to break it down and smooth it out.

Enjoy!

Great tune Fred,,I work on a sort of second guitar to the one with the melody and on the top three strings ..Hey I liked how you get your pinky or other fingers in shape again with Peggy Sue..pity it was so short!!!

I keep meaning to have another look at Norwegian Wood..... it's mentioned all the time.
Actually I was at one stage looking at the AGS - chord solos and it's mentioned there too.

So thanks for the FOTW Neil and Fred.

It's a lot of co-ordination, I was all over the place with it.
I mean, when you practice it slowly I kept stopping the right hand constant movement.

Thanks for looking!

Norwegian Wood, still a work in progress to keep the solo notes connected, but bits of small steps forward!

Peggy Sue was a "break" to get the fingers "limber", but a cool tune and a fun one to play.

Fred

Enjoyed this FOTW Fred. Norwegian Wood is one of the first lessons here that I went through and the one that got my pinky to finally join the party. Great tips by Neil here, especially recommending the change of pace tune. I find that helps me a lot.

Thanks for letting us share your experience.

Hope -

For the break, a sip or two of a good cab would be just fine! B)

Harry -

Thanks for looking in - glad to contribute in a small way.

Best -
Fred
