Hi Everyone,

Today's Target members only lesson is a new Fly On The Wall.

Sandy had been working on Oh Susannah with the jazzy chords that James Taylor used in his arrangement from the Sweet Baby James album. This led us into a discussion about chord components (1-3-5) and chords in a key (I-IV-V). She was a bit rusty on some theory details and we spent this lesson clearing them up, hopefully.

So I just have to thank Sandy for taking that beating for me. I really needed that refresher. I get so caught up in trying to learn the next song, that I forget to work on the basics.

But I see that my instructor doesn't forget. :laugh:
