Hi Everyone,
Today's Target members only lesson is a new Fly On The Wall.
Every week Ed comes in with a choice of new, or sometimes old projects. This week he had Romeo And Juliet on top of the pile and we decided to head in that direction. We got out the music from the TG lesson on it and walked through the intro measure by measure. We also talked about a little more basic strumming version and a few tangents into things like nails comparison of rock legends.
Enjoy!

Watching Ed's lessons is like overhearing two muso's chatting and wishing I could be part of the conversation. I love it.
When Ed asked Neil about where it's derived from and he said it's basically unlike any other open G songs you could mention I was reminded that when I was learning this the melody and progression seem so utterly perfect in their construction that I thought this is timeless in the proper sense of the word, as if it had always existed but it took Mark Knopfler's genius to divine it.
