Hi Everyone,

Today's Target and Pay Per Lesson release is now live.

Jack Johnson’s easy, relaxed style makes for some really fun songs to play. Banana Pancakes is from his 2005 album In Between Dreams and features an interesting percussive strumming pattern, along with a bunch of barre chords, which help the percussive effect. There are also a couple of nice little licks played behind the vocals.

Enjoy this level 6 lesson!

I'm right behind ya matey... both Jack Johnson and Ben Harpur play Coles. Jack uses both the FL 1 and, 2 Ben uses their Harps and FL1. On this Jack is using the Face Brace system. http://www.coleclarkguitars.com/product ... ations.asp and primarily switched to the face of the guitar not the bridge.

My son is a huge J.J. fan so I will learn one for him... I like having an inspiration to force me to get it down :)

I'm just working on a couple of sections of this... but, ahhhh... Neil, you and Jack make this look sooo easy peasy... smooooth mine is not.:) Just getting the 'strumming' pattern happening nicely and automatically is my first mission.

BTW - I love this version with Ben Harper playing as well.
