What needs improvement?
I would actually really like to see you play a song such as this one!

Yes, I can play it but there's plenty room for improvement.
I do find playing along with videos (and GP6) difficult because when I play I don't hear (mask out) what I'm playing with due
the guitar (if you know what I mean :S. Turning up the volume of the song, well I've got to watch who I drive mad, they are nearby

Agreed. Firstly, I like this song! But secondly, I think that we sometimes dismiss a song as "too easy" and not worthy of our efforts. But even an "easy" song like this has a lot of instructional value: keeping a steady tempo, smooth chord changes, muting chords (that muted D), smooth strumming, etc. Perfect a song like this and you take that skill to numerous "harder" songs that you encounter in the future.

You're SO right!!!
Here and there, when uploading vids, i have gotten compliments on how I play 'simple' campfire-songs, i think what youre saying is the reason for that. There is so much to add and to stress, accentuate and to perfect etc. You can never play enough campfire-songs!
Thx Sue!

Timing and chord changes but that's because I haven't a balanced practice diet.
