Hi Everyone,
Today's Target and Pay Per Lesson release is now live.
The reclusive Fred Neil is best known for Everybody’s Talkin’, although mostly due to Harry Nilsson’s cover which went on to be used as the theme song for Midnight Cowboy. This lesson starts off as an ear-training exercise and then goes into Fred’s accompaniment, which was a simple strumming pattern with single notes moving from chord to chord.
Enjoy this level 3 lesson!

And all this time I thought this was written by Glen Campbell. Humm....
I'll have to work on this one. I really enjoy the history of songs and performers. I had not heard of Fred Neil, but I'm a huge fan of Harry Nilsson (and the movie Midnight Cowboy). For anyone interested in more history on Nilsson, there is a documentary movie called "Who is Harry Nilsson (And Why Is Everybody Talkin About Him)?" It's pretty interesting showing his rise and fall, and interactions with other performers at the time including the Beatles.
