Hi Everyone,

Today's Target and Pay Per Lesson release is now live.

One of John Fogerty’s last hits with his band before his brother Tom left, Have You Ever Seen The Rain is a straightforward strumming song on most fronts, and we take a look at the easy way to play it, as well as dressing it up with a few runs and licks. It only uses four chords in the key of C but the frills we explore include working in the bass runs in the intro, playing the descending bass line in the Chorus, and the sixteenth-note bounce that kicks the song off with a bang.

Enjoy this level 4 lesson!

Hi Gang,

For some reason I had it in my head that the earlier version was one of our Free Lessons. I guess I should have checked. Maybe we'll have to make it one now.

Neil

In Part 5 when referring to the bass run descents, I don't really understand what you mean when you say we don't really get the bass as we want it.

Does that mean there's an alternative way you might prefer to incorporate the bass runs ?

Edit
I've removed this question as think I've sorted the bass runs.
Not sure what I was thinking when posting the question as they are reasonably straight forward,
just that Neil does the actual the slide fast in the video, so used my ears
