Hi Everyone,

Today's Target members only lesson is a new Fly On The Wall.

Sandy and I started working on the Eagles’ I Can’t Tell You Why a week or so before this lesson, with the first part of the plan to just become familiar with the chord progression and melody.

In this lesson we started going over the different seventh chords that occur naturally in a key, and how secondary dominant chords are used.

We also listened carefully to the beginning trying to get an accurate version of the intro. A chord chart is attached but you still may have to do some detective work to figure everything out.

I really enjoyed watching this lesson. You have a good grasp of music theory.
I would have been stumped by so many of Neil's questions.
anyhow, this is a great song. I hope to work on it, too.

So far I really only know bits and pieces about music theory. I guess it just takes time to learn. I'm so glad you like this song too. Neil put the lyrics and chords on GP for all of us.
