Hi Everyone,
Today's Target members only lesson is a new Fly On The Wall.
Chan mentioned that he had always had trouble playing a B7 chord. This led us into connecting a few dots as far as chord construction and that one of the common ninth chord shapes, that he really had no trouble playing, is really derived from the open B7 shape. We talked about hand position, and how sometimes altering it a bit can make some chords easier to play. We also talked about other moveable shapes, including major sevenths, the basic ‘E’ and ‘A’ families, and their connections to the sixth and fifth strings.
Continuing on our Allman Brothers track, we played Melissa. Chan was very smooth strumming through the chords and had a good feel for the lyrics.
Enjoy!

Fun to watch your conversations and watching you two play together. Looks like a lot of fun happening in that room
I haven't been able to watch any of these FOTW sessions until tonight, and I watched all 4 together. Looking forward to #5.
Thanks again for sharing....
