Hi Everyone,
Today's Target and Pay Per Lesson release is now live.
Sing is a song by the popular English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, which was released as the lead single of his new second album ‘X’.
It features two barre chords, from the E and A families, and fast uptempo strumming at the speed of 16ths. A few hammer-ons as well as muting the strings with the fretting hand should be incorporated as well.
The lesson takes a look at the three main patterns which are being played on the original. There are also a few examples of how he plays it in live performances as well.
In the end, Ed Sheeran’s playing in general is very free form and random, this song is no exception to that. Basic strumming skills are absolutely needed.
Enjoy this level 4 lesson!

Damned fine song and lesson Ness.... especially for the right hand!
OMG!!! How is it possible for someone to be so cool playing just two chords. B)
Fantastic choice of song. This one grabs my attention every time I hear it.
I'm lovin' the rhythm, percussive attack and just the energy. SO COOOOOOOOOL! B)
I find it incredible too that you're able to break it down into such detail. Well...I really shouldn't be surprised right given the eye and ear you have for detail. You have the patience of a saint.
Well I'll definitely be workin' on my cool cred if I can get this one sounding like you.
Thanks
Shel

Oooooohw why you keep editing your posts, I quite liked that picture!!!!
This time no troubles with the lyrics (except for singing them, verse 2 :S ), Ed Sheeran has it written out for all his songs on his website, wish all artists would do that. That's why I like actual cd's, although i never buy them anymore.
Thanks a lot Dermot!

Yep, you can check your strumming abilities by trying to play this song!
I found out that I find it really hard to play it slowly instead of fast, haha! (well the breaking down I mean :S ....that sure wasn't easy...pfffff.....) But fast, that's just fine!
Thanks Chris!
