Hi Everyone,

Today's Target members only lesson is a new Fly On The Wall.

In this segment we started reviewing the musical alphabet going over the patterns of skips with various intervals, thirds, fourths and fifths, and thinking of our alphabetical series as a circle and not a line.

We also got into chord construction on the guitar, which took us to problems with finding open ways to play chords like G minor, as well as tips on locating natural notes on the 5th and 6th strings.

hi Willem

once Neil said high and low, up and down on the guitar are all related to pitch, it all made sense. I'm sure that I already knew that on some level, but it just clicked all of a sudden. I kept wanting to relate direction to something physical on the guitar as related to the sky above or the ground below.
