Hi Everyone,

Today's Target and Pay Per Lesson release is now live.

Syd Barrett was the driving and creative force behind Pink Floyd. Of course, he only was heavily involved with their first album, The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn. His songs were mostly short, eccentric, pop ditties.

Terrapin is taken from his solo album, The Madcap Laughs, and is a great example of his quirky style. David Gilmour frequently performs it in concert and the lesson looks more at his version, although they are very similar. The song uses mostly open and partial barre chords, and mixes in a little melody where we need some focused strumming.

Enjoy this level 4 lesson!

What can I say? Outstanding! I wore out Syd's 2 solo lp's when I was a lad! Don't stop at just one. How about a version of 'Octopus'?
I wouldn't think that this would be on your radar.
Awesome!

Gosh
Although I'm a Pink Floyd fan, I hadn't heard Syd Barretts music before !
I'm terrible when it comes to the who's whos of music, no offence intended
To the whos whos......Thanks for the great music.

Looks to be a great lesson too.

Fantastic and not off my radar! Bought the Syd double album re-issue back when David Gilmour compiled it from Syd's two solo albums. Lots of good stuff there with some odd ones mixed in.

Thanks!
