Hello everyone!

Today's Target and Pay Per Lesson release is now live.

She’s A Woman is a brilliant example of using a 12-bar-blues form as the foundation for a great song. Paul probably wrote it in a few minutes, on the way to the studio according to his recollection, and they recorded it in a day, probably the same day. The rhythm guitar just plays through a set of barre chords in the key of A, accenting the back beats, 2 & 4.

We also take a short looks at George’s solo. The song can be found on Past Masters Volume One.

Enjoy this level 4 song!

Many thx for more Beatles Neil. As you say, their B-sides and EP tracks are also often little gems.

I've always assumed as well that Paul played the rhythm guitar on the studio recording, but it must be John on the live versions. They didn't tend to swap instruments on stage during the years 63-66, although of course Paul changes often between guitar and bass live in all his subsequent work.

thx again/ David

I must say, after watching the live performance video you attached, that if any of those young girls at the concert are now members of TG, They DEFINITELY have a Beatles moment they can share. That was crazy.
