Hi Everyone!

Today's Target members only lesson is a new Fly On The Wall.

Big Bill Broonzy had a unique sound with his pounding, percussive bass technique, usually just hitting one note rather than alternating.

In this lesson Ed had recently started working on Hey Hey, mostly as found on Eric Clapton’s Unplugged album, and we spent some time working through the melody and 12-bar progression.

Thanks for the reminder of a great tune I've wanted to learn for a long time, I remember trying it first time around and it being beyond me for some reason. It'll be interesting to see if it's easier than I remember...

Also jogged my memory about 'Before You Accuse Me' which is the same deal for me. That frailing index and rapid-pounding bass was too hard when I tried last time. Fingers crossed.
