Hi Everyone!

Today's Target and Pay Per Lesson release is now live.

Songbird is a beautiful song, originally written by Christine McVie of Fleetwood Mac. This lesson takes a look at Eva Cassidy’s version, which appears on her 1998
compilation album with the same name.

Eva’s version features a simple yet beautiful fingerpicking arrangement in the key of G, which complements her amazing and hunting voice just perfectly.

The lesson covers the progression, the picking, the embellishments, such as hammer on’s and pull-off’s and the complete guitar solo.

This is an absolutely beautiful song and I've always loved Eva's version. What a loss...

Nessa and Corina - GOSH you two sure know how to weave powerful magic. Your sensitivity in performing this song is just spell-binding and so touching. Gorgeous all round.

I haven't started learning this yet as I want to remain focused on a couple of others for the moment, but I sure will learn it.

Yes, I absolutely agree, it's a beautiful song and Eva has one of the most beautiful voices ever...(at least to me)
