Dean

Thanks for bringing my attention back to the metronome. :S
It does help with orientation of a measure.
I've been over listening to the strum and subconsciously blocking the metronome.

Thanks for getting me back on track to happy  strumming.

Dermot

For anyone interested in GP6.

Here's my attempt at creating the notation in GP6 for the strum of measures 9 and 10 as Vanessa plays it in her play through.

If anyone can suggest any GP6 tweaks to make it less mechanical and more musical, that would be great.

Dean thanks again for bringing my attention back to the metronome.

Vanessa, what can I say :S

I've attached the GP6 File in a zip folder in the previous posting.

First of all I don't have seen the lesson (maybe I should) but it is a bout Gpro,, I try to write in Gpro6 just the way it maybe is when playing it on guitar and I wonder if you hit all that strings in your upstrokes, think that over! If not don't write all notes has you did, but! if you write less notes in your upstrokes then the bass note before your upstroke is ringin ('cos you hit it on the downstroke before that upstroke and did'nt release your finger, its ringin!

Most of the time it is better writing on more pages , pages 1 2 3 4 but you can show/see them all.

I think you know what I mean.

Keep asking,

Willem

Here's my next attempt at strumming measures 9 and 10 and putting it into GP6.

I played the audio file :S and modified my first manually created GPro file.
I took out the high notes on some of the chords so it would strum only the bass sound and changed the when beats the G and Gsus4 chords happen.
I still think the GPro File could be better but I don't know how to improve it.
My playing to has vast room for improvement but this lesson has been fun for me, all be it a bit creepy  !

Playing the full song from beginning to end will be a long term challenge, it's a left hand wrist killer for me. :woohoo:
Although my guitar action is low, at the 8th fret I still find it tough.
