Hi Everyone,

Today's Target members only lesson is a new Fly On The Wall.

This lesson was a week after we started taking a serious look at Davey Graham’s Anji. We worked extensively on the first section, concentrating on the descending bass line and combinations of notes in the melody. In Part 2 we looked at the pounding bass line in the second section.

Well played Ed... very enjoyable FOTW.

My problem with Anji is that having listened to the Paul Simon version (sorry Neil) for the best part of 45 years I'm also putting the extra notes - (hammer-on, pull-offs) into the opening phrases. It is now so hard-wired into my brain that getting them out of there is well-nigh impossible, even though i know this is not Davey Graham's original version.

What did the man say.. when the legend becomes fact???
