Hello Everyone!

Today's Target and Pay Per Lesson release is now live.

Words is another classic from Neil Young, being the last song on his 1972 album Harvest. It features a couple different time signatures and tempos and the lesson is done leaning towards the student figuring out the two main parts. Don’t panic, most of the answers are covered as the lesson progresses.

Enjoy this level 5 lesson!

I made it my mission lately to learn a few Neil Young tunes, this is another nice one to add to the list. Thanks.

Many thx Neil, I really enjoyed this lesson. Harvest was the first Neil Young album i bought, back in the day... A further section to the lesson on the lead part would be great.

Words (Between The Lines Of Age) by Neil Young is a great lesson.

You mentioned a while back you were adding tab to some older lessons.
I wondered if you might add some to Words (Between The Lines Of Age) ?

At the end of the lesson you mentioned you may expand on the lesson.
It would be great if you'd consider adding to the lesson.

This is a great lesson and interesting.

I have an additional request.

I've got the Jam worked out with all the running bass chord transitions, including the deviation from the original with aditional bass notes.

In Part 4 of the Words lesson 2.14 minutes in, you explain how the bass section of the Jam
is played more like the original, which incorrporates sliding up the fretboard.
I wonder if you could play and count this part from the slide up the fretboard on the weekly news.

Viewing the tune in 11/4 time, here's where I'm at with respect to the "G" chord and slide up the fretboard on beat 4.

I'd still love a pdf, to see how it all translates to notation in GuitarPro too.

Edit

Got it
