Hello Everyone!

Today's Target and Pay Per Lesson addition is now live.

The short solo after the second verse of In My Life is fascinating on a few fronts, and not particularly guitar friendly either. It was originally played on the piano and then doubled in speed to sound more like a harpsichord (along with being much easier to play).

In Part 5 we take a look at getting most of the notes on the guitar. The embellishments and the glissando at the end are really unnecessary so this slightly modified arrangement keeps the song relatively playable.

In Part 6 we do get into the embellishments, mordents to be specific, for those who need to up the difficulty a level or two.

Enjoy this level 7 addition!

Thx Neil..this is so great.

a.i don't need to learn to play the harpsichord, phew...

b. erm, i think i may just start on the version without the embellishments if that is ok.

c. any chance of the tab to go with the solo?? .. i mean give us a chance mate...

That would make it too easy!

Never mind, I'll see what I can do.

I have been ordering pay for lesson for about a half dozen lessons to far. I like Guitar Pro and, although Neil says Totally Guitars offers it with "nearly every lesson" I see it only sporatically offered. Is it offered more often with a Target Membership?

Hi,

I think every lesson that has a tab attachment includes a gpx one as well. Some song lessons only need a chord/lyric chart and don't have tab. There is no difference between Target lessons and Pay Per Lessons. Can you point me to some that you see that have tab as a pdf without a gpx?

BTW, glad you like Guitar Pro. I used it for almost every tab file here, probably over 1000 by now.

Neil

Neil

Thanks for Parts 5 & 6 and six.

I only started looking at the Intro and Verse One last night.
It's always so much easier to watch and listen to in your hands

You've uploaded a lot of great lessons recently, it's difficult not to over commit.

Spoilt !

It's been there since David pointed it out, sorry I didn't make that clear.

Hello Neil

Thanks, I've discarded the original uploaded Pdf file that didn't include the Solo starting on Measure 39.

Thanks again for such a great lesson.
