That's another way to dress up the song by playing a nice intro/outro and a short instrumental part somewhere in the middle of the song. Neil had me just play the melody of some songs, with an alternating bass, as the instrumental part. Or maybe you would call that the lead. It makes the song a lot more interesting. Is that something that you do a lot when you play songs?

oh I want to but I do not master it, figure it out by my self is even harder, I need a good explain.

Hi Willem

Maybe Neil can tell us all how he had me figure out the melody of a song I was learning and then play it between verses or before or after the chorus just like it was one of the verses. We did a few songs that way so that I could play them by myself and still have an instrumental, or kind of lead part somewhere in the song. It just dresses the song up a little if you are the only one playing solo guitar.
