Hello Everyone!

Today's Target and Pay Per Lesson release is now live.

In 1965, Positively 4th Street was released as a single, not appearing on either album from the time, Highway 61 Revisited and Blonde On Blonde. It is a very simple chords progression, just 8 measures, but provides a perfect backdrop for Bob’s biting story.

This lesson starts as an ear training exercise, then goes a little into picking out the melody. I would suggest only looking at the attachments as a last resort and see how much of it you can put together on your own.

Enjoy this level 2 lesson!

It's probably gauche to say, but this sounds like half a song in search of a chorus.

I appreciate the ear training approach though. I have the world's worst ear so need all the help I can get.

A very nice add, Neil. Had been waiting a while for this one. Very glad you decided to include the chord solo to it. For those who like the song, check out the Johnny Rivers cover on his 1967 album “Realization”. Very different arrangement… builds slow and increases intensity through the verses. Some very nice acoustic instrumentation as well.
