Hi Everyone!
There are a lot of ways to measure your progress as a student. Something I think is very important is to have a few goals set as to what you really want to do as a musician.
Everyone starts out as a beginner and most usually progress to the intermediate level fairly soon. Here are some thoughts on different levels.
They might lead to answering silly questions like, “Who’s a better guitar player, George Harrison, Neil Young, Jimi Hendrix, Van Halen, Bob Dylan, Julian Bream...”
Enjoy this new lesson!

Thanks Neil. That was very informative, at least from the opinion that I value most. I don't know how much farther I'll advance, but it's fun to keep trying to always get better.
Merry Christmas to everyone in the Hogan household and the TG world.

Very interesting and helpful, Niel. I remember the New Year resolutions thread from last year, so this is very timely. I love the instrumentals, but I've been thinking lately that I need to spread myself a little more evenly. Thanks for articulating what I've been feeling in my gut. Happy holidays!
