Hi Everyone!

We have another Target members exclusive lesson for today, a new Fly On The Wall with Fred learning to play Lyin’ Eyes.

In the aftermath of losing Glenn Frey recently, many of my students have been revisiting Eagles’ songs.

Since Fred has been working on more challenging instrumental fills in some otherwise easy strumming songs, the little lick in the intro to Lyin’ Eyes grabbed his attention.

We worked on the alternate picking technique necessary to get the rhythm right, as well as an unusual left finger independence exercise that John Renbourn introduced me to many years ago.

Great job Fred, you're getting really good with that flat pick and your guitar playing is progressing nicely. It's fun to hear you play.
