We have a new Target members exclusive lesson for today, Michelle & Triplets with Lynn.
Lynn was on the West Coast for a few days and dropped in for a lesson. While she was here she posted a video of her playing Michelle by The Beatles. Most of it was great, but with one little rhythmic problem.
That led us into a discussion about triplets, referencing Jesu, Joy Of Man’s Desiring by Bach, which is usually written in 9/8 time but could be considered 3/4 with eighth note triplets on every beat.
