Hi everyone,
Today's Target and Pay Per Lesson release is now live, Adia by Sarah McLachlan.
This beautiful song was released on Sarah McLachlan’s 1997 album Surfacing, which also
included Building A Mystery and Angel.
Adia is a piano song but it transfers very nicely to the guitar. It is played in the key of Eb,
which we get to with a capo at the first fret and thinking in D Major.
There are a few unusual chords for the key, along with a few inversions common in piano
arrangements.
The lesson also includes some fills used in the verse and a short instrumental interlude.
Enjoy this level 6 lesson!

Neil
Sarah McLachlan has some great songs, just love her piano.
You bring it to life on the guitar.
Great sound, thanks for another fantastic motivation.

Hi Neil, i'm just catching up on some lessons from the last few weeks....this is a a wonderful song and a great lesson, i love all the fills, and yep, that diminshed chord in the chorus is a real 'aha' moment. Thx for taking this out of the piano realm and making it available to us guitarists.
I may be tempted to take a shot at this, if only i could find a female vocalist....
take care on your recovery.../ david
