Hi everyone,
We have a new Target members exclusive lesson for today, Pentatonic Patterns with Kurt.
Kurt, one of our IGC regulars, made a long trip for a private lesson here at TG Central in
early June. We started the lesson with a little theory going over the use of pentatonic
patterns and families of chords.
We played through a few progressions in various keys, including Southern Man by Neil
Young, and Loan Me A Dime as done by Boz Scaggs, and then talked about 12-bar blues
progressions.
Enjoy!

Neil and Kurt
What a great FOTW and addition to the use of Pentatonic Scales, which pattern to use,
where to place them with respect to each other and how to move
horizontally and vertically along the fretboard between patterns.
I like the song choices / suggestions for practice and Neil and Kurt's playing.
If you (any interested pentatonic people )can think of any others please add them to this forum post.
Kurt - Thanks for the question.
Thanks for sharing.
