Today's Target and Pay Per Lesson release is now live, Wicked Game by Chris Isaak.


Chris Isaak’s 1989 album Heart Shaped World included the hauntingly beautiful ballad
Wicked Game.


Chris said he wrote it in a very short time when he heard someone was coming over who
he was probably better off not seeing.


In any case, the event left us with a simple progression, a very melodic riff, and a serious
challenge for any singer.


This lesson presents a great way to incorporate the instrumental themes into the progression
and adapt them to the acoustic guitar.

This is such a beautiful song. I really want to learn this one next.

If I wanted to stay safe I would say this song is in the key of A, But I'm going to go out on a limb and say it's in the key of Bm because it starts with Bm and it has a haunting sound to it like it's in a minor key.

Ok I just watched Neil's full lesson on this song and as usual the issue of what key this song is in is a little more complicated than I could have imagined.
