Hi everyone,

Today's Target and Pay Per Lesson release is now live, Even In The Quietest Moments by Supertramp.

Roger Hodgson’s 12-string guitar was a defining sound for Supertramp in the late 1970s. Even In The
Quietest Moments, from the 1977 album of the same name, is an example of Roger at his best.

It is mostly played with small chord shapes on the top 3 or 4 strings, usually keeping the open D in
the bass as the chords change.

This lesson is done on both a 12 and a 6-string, and mostly follows the way Roger plays it live and
solo.

The crosspicking technique is preferred here and the segments go through the tab almost measure by
measure, of which there are less than 16 anyway.

The preview includes a performance by Dan Wayner at our 2017 International Guitar Camp, which is
what inspired this lesson in the first place.

Enjoy this level 6 lesson!

Well I've been gone for two weeks, and what do ya know, a request that I made over two thousand days ago, finally became a lesson.

The moral of the story, "never give up"

Neil,

In the "arrangement" you were referencing the lyrics for this song. The only PDF file that I have in the attachment section is for the tabs. Do you have a lyrics sheet as well? Unfortunately, this hasn't been a song on my radar before Dan's performance and now your lesson. I could use the words if you have them please.

Oops, you should have let me know you were looking for excuses. I would have had a completely, and probably indifferent response.

Have fun with the tune!

Hey Neil--

I watched your Acoustic Snapshot and now this. I'm torn, but I think this one will win out for now. I've been focusing on a pick during the past year, so this one is it. Neat idea to include Dan's video from camp. I have a couple of days off, so I'm on it.

Dan, it was a memorable performance!
