Our newest TARGET and Pay Per Lesson release is on Thinking Of You by Katy Perry!

Katy Perry is an American singer-songwriter who rose to fame in 2008 with the release of her 2nd album ‘One of The boys’.

One of its tracks is Thinking Of You and this lesson shows how Perry plays it on the guitar, whether or not she’s performing
it by herself or with a band.

The arrangement is done in the key of E, and uses only a few shapes, while leaving the two top strings open with pretty much
every chord. We also take a look at the main feel of the strumming, which emphasizes several upstrokes.

I didn’t know this one. The only Katy P I have in my library is Firework.

Hey Shel!

Admittedly i didn't know much by Katy P. either. But her popularity/reputation made me check out her stuff anyway. And i've come to very much enjoy her acoustic versions of some of her songs. I think she's a really great artist! And she's from this century too. :laugh:
