I was wondering if the tabs for this site were produced with Guitar Pro or Power Tab.
If they are would it be possible to include these files with the lessons?

I have Guitar Pro and would love it if the tabs and other files were compatable.

I agree it would be useful and more productive if a version of the tabs was in Guitar Pro format.

I heard Neil say he uses Guitar Pro in the ASK Neil section of TARGET in a reply to
Suz on Rhythm.

But the the Guitar Pro file is a .GP5 or .GP4 depending on the version. Only TAB I've seen on the site is in .pdf Can that be imported to GP? I'm considering purchasing the software. The full version is $59.00 online.

PDF Power Tab and ASCII can be imported into Guitar Pro, I have used GPro since ver 3 and think its well worth the money. Make sure you have enough RAM to run the RSE component though otherwise you won't get the full benefit of the software.

Thanks for the info Chasplaya. I had many Power tab files that I did not know could be imported in Guitar Pro. Now it's done. Should read the manual!

Thanks Chasplaya, I purchased the software last night and its going to take some time to learn it. Where can I find TABS to import?

Just google the name of the song and guitar pro. In the links offered you should find some site 911 Tabs, Ultimate guitar, Tab Scout,etc... you will be offered a list(in the first 2 sites listed before)and at the end of the line you will see either guitar Pro, Tabs or Power Tab. Select Guitar pro and run it if you have many choices to see which one sounds similar to what you want. Just save the one you want after. Note that Guitar Pro Tabs are not necessarely the same as the original since they are interpretation or version of individuals. So sometimes it is good, sometimes less good. But they are free after you bought the software.

In the first 2 sites you can enter the name of the song at the top and you might have more versions offered
