Rodrigo Y Gabriela call it Fusion neither Classical nor Flamenco , They were both in Mexican thrash metal band Tierra Acida but got fed up and moved to Ireland and now live in Dublin, started career with style as buskers on the streets of Dublin. I have 3 of there albums and it brasses me off because they are very difficult to emulate lol For a start I can't do a rasquedo to save myself. Check out their hit single Tamacun or ther version of Metallicas Orion

Very nice version and much better performed.
I looked for a while to find a better video with TAB but gave up and went with the "guitar face" one.
There are a lot of videos out there of this, but most are not very good for one reason or another.

I hadn't thought of that theme on the guitar, but it sounds great.

It never would have occurred to me to do that with Stairway to Heaven.

Hey Mark,

Here is a medley of classical tunes on a classical guitar.

He also does Ravel's Bolero.

Enjoy,

Jim
