No question about it many of the lessons are outstanding.

Lots of information, background, technical, side bars, theory, random comments, etc, but it all come a bit to fast for me.
Anybody else feel like that?

Some time the lessons are all over the map.

Would Neal be aposed to poping a few tranquilizers, or perhaps a shot of Jack Daniels?

If he is into natural products, St John's Wart might be a consideration.
I guess it all depends on where you're at, as far as knowledge and skill. Personally, I find Neil's pace and approach to teaching to be spot on.

It's quite possible that perhaps you are trying to play beyond your skill level.

Granted, I'm an intermediate player, so a lot of the things that you may view as confusing or fast paced, I view as simply giving me the information I need to advance myself.

Of all the garbage instruction sites on the net, this is the only one that's worth my time.

I'm actually considering placing an ad banner on my guitar forum for free.

NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are a sad sort, are we not..........

I have to say, that this forum has just become my second home. It is nice to talk music and math (honestly never thought I could find that.....). Anybody interested in Astronomy as well? Just bought a new telescope and am taking it up to the Sierras next week. Should be outstanding.

MJ its starting to get spooky now! lol

Yep, I too love astronomy. Not that I am any
good at it, but on a clear night I will usually
be out in the backyard gazing at the stars. The
telescope I use is a Meade SN-8 AT with a 203 mm
aperture. Its not a particularly a great telescope
but its good enough for me.

My 3 freetime passions are guitars, astronomy, and
target shooting (pistols only). I am not adding any
more hobbies until I retire! lol

I'm not into Astronomy. Besides, I already know their names.

Alderan, destroyed by the Death Star. Rigel 4 where Captian Pike fought the Giants. Talos 4 where Spock was court marshalled. Arisia, where Kimball Kinnison vacationed. Our moon that was lost to us in 1999. I just sit back and close my eyes and I can see them all. Twinkling in the sky, right there in my mind.

Now 'sucse me while I make that into a song. LOL
