Only Target members can request a lesson? That's so totally not fair, its not even nice.
I was going to request Rocky Mountain Way by Joe Walsh.

I'm not a Target member but I think it's fair, they're the ones paying for
it and all the free stuff for everyone else.

They may be paying for the site and everything, but there is no restriction on who gets a good idea for a song. Keep that section open to everyone. And combining with my post about voting, if they see that some of their requests are being filled, then how much more likely are they to sign up and become Target members?
New members have to come from somewhere.

Trust me, the TARGET members have requested enough songs for Neil to stay busy for years! One guy can only process so many requests and with all the non-paying members out there, there is little chance he can keep everyone happy.
I do know they mentioned on the last webinar that they are considering closing TARGET and then re-opening it with a higher price. Founding members will be "grandfathered" in at the current price. So get in while the gettin's good!
Andy, you cheapskate, you need to be a member of TARGET anyway! You have way too many good ideas and are funnier than hell to not be a member!! LOL!

Believe it or not I haven't joined TARGET yet, world recesion precludes the niceties at present. I agree with Bigbear tho I don't complain about the request thing being for TARGET only, I intend joining sometime but not right now, I am just glad the forums are available and the fact we get limited snippets of videos etc.
